In America households, dinner typically consists of dishes that require little to no prep time and are filled with preservatives and artificial ingredients. It is only on holidays and special occasions that we go through the trouble of preparing an entire smorgasbord of delicious treats. There are several reasons why the traditional big family dinner has largely been put to the wayside, but cooking time is one of the most cited.

If you don’t think that you have time to prepare a large spread on a regular basis, think again. All it takes is some ingenuity and the utilization of modern cooking gadgets and methods. When preparing a turkey for example, cooking the bird in the oven is an antiquated practice. By using a stainless steel turkey fryer instead, the cooking time will be a fraction of what it was, and most people agree it creates a better quality product too.
