Here’s a recipe for homemade French fries. You’ll be amazed at the color, crispiness, and down right deliciousness of these fries!

Ingredients:

2 ½ lbs. peeled potatoes
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
½ cup water
1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions:

Cut your potatoes into French fries and place them into cold water so they don’t shrivel.  Heat your vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat, and while the oil is heating, sift all the dry ingredients into a bowl, then stir in the water. Dip your French fries together into the batter one at a time, and place them in the hot oil. Ensure the fries don’t clump. When they’re golden and brown, remove them and drain on paper towels. Great for kids and parties!
